Forward PR is thrilled to welcome eco-label, Prophetik, back to their books for London Fashion Week, September 2010. Prophetik opened the shows at Vauxhall Fashion Scout in February 2010 with an autumn winter collection called ‘Southern Shores’ inspired by the American Civil War. A horse welcomed show-goers to the Freemasons Hall and a live band, Man Raze, kicked off the show following a prelude by a violinist and guitarist. The show was one of the most talked about of the week, receiving praise from Vogue.com, The Times, Hilary Alexander and longtime friend of Prophetik designer, Jeff Garner, Jimmy Choo.
For their spring summer show, Prophetik will once again be opening the shows at Vauxhall Fashion Scout on the 17th of September at high noon, with Botticelli's Venus, taking centre stage as Garner’s muse. The men’s and women’s collection, called, ‘Midnight Garden,’provokes mystery and innocence with beautiful flowing ball gowns in simple hemp silk linens and an all new unique fabric derived from seaweed. Prophetik is partnering with British label Nina Dolcetti for shoes, and yes, there will be plenty of live music.
